Noon, mas madaming Pilipino ang naniniwala sa mga pamahiin. Pero sa kasalukuyang panahon na mayroon tayo ay iilan na lang ang mga taong naniniwala. Kataasan sa mga naniniwala hanggang ngaun e ang mga matatanda na kanila nga namang nailakip na sa kanilang buhay at kung tutuusin ay ang mga pamahiin na kapani paniwala din naman ang isa sa mga nagbibigay kaalaman maging sa mga kabataan ngayon..
Malaking tulong ang video na ito upang malaman din ng ilan pang bata/ ibang tao na hanggang ngayon ay nageexist pa ang mga ganitong pamahiin..

Dahil buhay na buhay pa ang kultura sa aming bayan, kahit ang mga kabataan ay malalim pa ang kaalaman tungkol sa mga paniniwala na pinamana sa atin ng ating mga ninuno. Mahala na irespeto natin ito at huwag kalimutan.

The content were nice. It is still convicted or accepted in this generation that certain thing are real. It’s actually part of our culture and superstitious talaga mga pinoy. They think if they do something there will be some sort of effect or comebacks. And that’s what makes us unique!

Para sakin kasi, tradisyon na nating mga Pinoy ang maniwala sa mga pamahiin, lalong lalo na yung mga nakakatanda. Although hindi naman sya proven ng Science, wala rin naman sigurong mawawala kung susundin natin kasi maliit lang na effort ang ibubuhos natin. Kumbaga, ang mga tao ngayon hindi na lang iisipin na baka nga may mangyaring masama kung di sumunod sa pamahiin, instead parang ginagawa na lang din bilang respesto sa tradisyong ito.

There are a lot of native beliefs that are still being carried along to the present generations and I believe that there is nothing wrong with that as long as the people following it are being reasonable.

I, personally, believe in that one very classic concept of “nausog/nabalis” which was nicely featured in this documentary. Since I have a background in Science and how the systems in our body work, my mind often gets in a battle with itself whether to believe in what I really know physiologically or go for the pamahiin. For instance, when a relative whom I haven’t seen in a long time see and greet me and suddenly my stomach aches out of nowhere, I resort to believing that they are the ones who caused it and that I need to see them again for them to be able to “treat” it by means of their saliva.

This kind of documentaries can help open up minds of the pamahiin non-believers, especially the young ones today, that there are really things that can’t be explain by Science. I just hope that once something bizarre happens to them and they start believing in this “pangontra” and “pamahiin”, it works for them well and effectively.

This is an interesting video clip about the belief and culture that's still practiced by filipino up to this modern time. The content is magnificent and very informative. It is worth the watch.

It is a very interesting video that shows how filipinos are superstitious. Hindi naman tayo masasaktan if gagawin natin so might as well na gawin na lang natin.

I believe that this documentary is very informative and is beneficial to every Filipinos who's still in touch with several superstitious beliefs. However, I grew up in a family that puts so much stock on superstitions, and I do consider some of it but majority of those, I find it very very, nonsense. Imean I Don't get why family should not put the plates next to each other in times of burial? Why aren't they allowed to sweep floors? Why? I'm aware that this kind of irrational belief makes us unique to other countries, but I, myself don't acknowledge that beliefs. I'm living in a modern generation and having this beliefs is beyond my thinking capacity. I find those superstitious beliefs funny tho

I actually don't belive in superstitious beliefs of the filipino people but it is interesting to hear their stories and experiences regarding this matter. If there is anything that I want to point out with regards to this video, it would be to avoid using the terms "yung ano" when asking questions or doing inquiries because it makes the question vague and not precise and also the color of the subtitles doesn't give the appropriate vibe to the documentary and I find it hard to look at. Overall, it is a really nice documentary video.
