I have this camera and I own a professional media company. We were hesitant at first, but we have fallen in love with this camera. We use it for capturing all the behind-the-scenes footage from our commercial video shoots. Great review Evan I think you nailed it with your feedback.

Fun little tip, we don’t film in log. We found the trade-off for shooting and log versus just shooting in natural color. Wasn’t that much of a difference to us.

Bought one thanks to Best Buy price matching and I'm already in love with it using it twice for short hiking videos. Weighs less than my phone and so quick and easy to turn on, record, finish, move on. The hype matches the product. Assuming one knows they aren't buying a rugged product.

It's totally worth the hype! This thing is a beast! Love it. Like everything it has some downsides (for me) it is that you cannot record slowmotion in D log and vertical. If you switch to slowmo it makes the frame 16x9 and with colors. Besides that for me it's a 10/10. I was able to color grade and match it to my fx 30. Of course you can see the difference but beleive me 90% of people will not! :D

Sometimes I think to ditch my Pocket 3 for a better alernative. Then I look the market and I dont see any camera which has such nice gimbal, portability, quality and ease of use. So far its a very nice product!

I'm on the go a lot and since getting the osmo pocket 3, it's the most used camera I have. Often leave my mirrorless at home. It's an incredible device. If for the next Gen they add a decent zoom lens like in some of their drones, might not need a normal camera anymore. Amazing little device. Oh plus the audio with the wireless mic. One of those products that they just did it right

I love my pocket 3. I’ve created some pretty decent videos with this camera. I’m glad I paid the extra for the creator combo kit because the mic is amazing, I also purchased all the pocket 3 accessories and can’t do without them now. I also think this camera is PERFECT for travel.

This is somewhat unrelated but what are the lights you have mounted on the wall to highlight your shelves and pictures? The algo recommended this to me as I just picked up my Osmo 3 last week. Great video; informative and validated my purchase. Thanks!

I'm still divided on this because I know 100% that I would love it and get a ton of use out of it. At the same time, I also know 100% that I will break it. Water, falling, bumping into things, or just through use, I'm going to break it.

i also had the original osmo, i loved it even though the battery was trash and the fan ran like craaazy. i've really been resisting getting the pocket 3 even though i'm 100% sure i would also love it like the og osmo.

I love this camera! It’s made my life so much easier. I’ve mounted it to my mirrorless camera to shoot vertical content while I shoot 16x9 for client work. It’s also super easy to vlog with. I can just clip on the mic and hit record.

So Question, What do you use, When your not required to use your mobile for an added screen ? Tad contradicting as I've not experienced this "3rd" issue you mention, as a video producer.
