Predictions for the End of Rings of Power Season 2 (Episode 8 & beyond) - Spoiler Warning

More speculation. Here are some updates for my predictions for the last Episode and beyond of Season 2 of The Rings of Power (Episodes 8). We talk about the Stranger, Eregion, Elrond, Sauron, Celebrimbor, Durin, etc.

I might be wrong though. I have not seen the last two episodes yet, but all the trailer material. So Spoiler Warning.

You are a brave man! Getting into the mindset of those despoilers of all that is good and Tolkien is like looking into a Palantir that has Morgoth on speed dial.
My own prediction for episode eight? Hm... It'll include at least one nostalgia quote from the Peter Jackson movies. And it will most likely be used in an unfitting context. Yes. That's a safe enough bet.

Dark Wizard: Really?! What a coincidence! So did I.

Stranger: So where are we from?

[Suddenly the Dark Wizard remembers who he is]

Dark Wizard: Rómestámo!!! It's me, Morinehtar!!!


Stranger: Oh My Ilúvatar!! It is you! How wonderful.

Dark Wizard: What was so urgent that the Valar had to send my best friend forever to tell me?

Stranger: I don't know. I have amnesia. I was hoping you could tell me.🤪

Good predictions. I have a couple of my own. There will be a miniature "Scouring of the Shire" in Stoorville. With the masked "Roughskins" replacing the "Ruffians", the Dark Wizard replacing Sharkey and the disgruntled/scorned lead Mystic ( replacing Wormtongue ) who will stab the Dark Wizard ( Sharkey ) . . .On the otherhand a similar scenario replacing Merry and Eowyns rolls in defeating The Witch King, with the disgruntled Orc stabbing Adar in the back assisting Sauron or Arondir....In closing, I am only offering these because we have seen the trend of TROP adding what was left out of Jacksons LOTR. ie: Tom Bombadil, Barrow-Wights and The Scouring of the Shire. ps: Also, in reference to TROPs frequent use of horse kicks. Those are nods to Bill the Pony kicking his previous owner Bill Ferney just prior to the Scouring.

I don't like the idea that Adar is Celeborn, but unfortunately that makes me think it is likely these writers will choose to go in that direction. I salute your ability to be as positive as you are about this series. As much as I like some of the actors and the efforts they (and the visual effects crew) are putting into the show, I can't get past the writing. I long ago accepted the fact that this is fan fiction, so it isn't (simply) the divergences from lore that bother me. It is just the extremely stupid, weird, and bad writing that ruins it for me. BUT--at least I get to hear your ideas about the show, so that at least is something positive that comes from the pain of sitting through episodes of RoP! (I just hope they don't go over the top with the badly stolen and reused lines from the books / Jackson films and cause me to hurl my remote at the TV... that would get expensive...) ;-)

Agreed, especially with how these showrunners established that they have no love or respect for Tolkiens lore and the fake fans who try to defend this show that panders to virtual signaling.

Amazon made a big deal about securing the rights to have thr Blue Wizards depicted in TRoP series. That is the only reason why I will be on Team Pallando until the Stranger is dressed in grey and hold a staff like the one Gandalf had in Moria.
