In Victoria Australia the biggest problem is not the scooter but the footpaths that we must ride on. The concrete gets lifted by trees. They have electricity/ sewerage covers which are never level. Council tries to grind them but still uneven. I find when crossing road the gutter is a problem in that the concreter's do not make the access smooth. But I love my scooter even though I do not have much balance. The railways are gradually altering the stations and trains for access. You can organise to take the fold up scooters on air planes. I have a bag and take the charger with me. I use a fold up box which fits between my feet.
But I encourage people to buy these scooters because it gives you independence. Next time I would like puncture proof tyres. Getting a puncture on a hot day is not a good experience.

I have one in the garage that doesn't work. How about you repurchase it? It never worked, one day it would power up and the next day it would not. I wouldn't trust it to take me to the mailbox?
