1- Land grabbing accused Siddiqui alias Suleman Khan has alleged the police of intimidating and forcing him to make around 15 videos incriminating MLA Vijai Sardesai and AAP Chief Amit Palekar.
Suleman dialled Prudent Media from Colvale Jail and has made some shocking claims. He alleged that he was taken from jail to Hubli on the pretext of conducting panchanama. Suleman also claimed that he is not guilty of any land scam.
2- Giving major thrust on water supply, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today announced the formation of a dedicated department for Drinking Water, the subject that is being handled by the public works department till now.
Sawant said that the existing Public Works Department (PWD) will be split into two with the new department on water ensuring that consumers get at least 4 hours of Drinking water daily.
3- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant slammed Mayem locals for opposing Law College. He said that it is human tendency to oppose each and everything. He said that politics should not be hindrance to village development. Sawant also said that the village will progress only when there is development.
“I don't understand opposition to education institutions like IIT, Law college,” he added
4- Amid nationwide backlash and police action against Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps, Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte equated him to a rot destroying the country’s social fabric.
Allahbadia and the makers of the show India's Got Latent – a platform where vulgar remarks created an outrage, are facing multiple police complaints and notices from women and human rights panels.
5- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that RRSM infra has completed 70% of the flyover work in just 4 months. He said that the project is on track to be completed by August 2026, showcasing both quality and speed.
"I request the public to cooperate with us, bearing with the temporary inconvenience and avoid creating hurdles by approaching the courts," said CM
