MAB what i was trying to say about virtuosos playing in a band is they tend to play for the music, as opposed for themselves. Even in classical music the Virtuoso is more playing a role IN the music during a passage of a music composition, i think in that setting a virtuoso is more musical when in that role because they are more likely to play concise and for the composition. Being a guitarist myself i enjoy virtuoso playing, but i get bored after awhile because the music tends to be weak, and really doesn't go anywhere. I tune into your channel because i want to be a better guitarist, and i have learned much from watching and i want to create and play GREAT MUSIC with the tools that you help provide 🙂😉
