Istanbul grand bazaar walking tour 2023/ Eminonu bazaar fake market

Eminonu is a great place to feel like visiting the real Istanbul because it represents more than just tourism. In this area is the largest and most historical grand bazaar of Istanbul and everything you need is available in this bazaar. Sitting on a bench and watching people go about their daily lives takes you to another world that no travel magazine can ever describe.
One of the most defining markets in Istanbul is the 17th century Egyptian spice market, where you can buy souvenirs and sell goods. Everyone is amazed by the beautiful and vibrant architecture of the roof. Now it proudly stands as a separate tourist attraction. The aroma of spices and herbs is spread daily in the space. Turkish condiments, chocolates and kitchen condiments are other items for sale and are a special gift for loved ones at home.
It is a delightful experience to stroll through its narrow and winding streets, glimpse into the workshops of artisans who still carry on the traditional trade, and discover the wonderful historical buildings found here. Down the hill towards Eminonu you can visit the "New Mosque" and the Egyptian Spice Bazaar, both of which offer a fascinating glimpse into the medieval past.
