There has to be a balance between athletes being able to transfer and this

Remember, when you decide to go to Cal to play over Oregon, you will be playing with Cal's Oline, not Oregon's.

Ironic that JKS left after watching Dante Moore practice. Dante Moore decommitted from Oregon a year earlier so that he could play immediately at UCLA, only to discover he *needed* a year to sit and learn behind a great QB.

Malachai Nelson Jadon Raschada, and others that have portal hopped like crazy are gonna be the examples used for a decade if they keep failing.

Bryan harsin is the OC at Cal and ran off Bo Nix, what makes this kid think that is best for his future

I like that aspect of the portal no longer can a team hoard the players who will never see the field.

This guy is going to be elite and light it up in 2 years at bal state 🔥

It's because when an agent convinces you that as a freshman you can make more money playing than sitting that's what players want. Players want the most money possible regardless of if they play for a chip.

He doesn't have to beat out a current starter. Unless that starter is only one year ahead of you, he will be gone in a year after you get there. It gives you time to learn the system and be ready to play when its your time.

Deuce Knight already seems like he’s goi g to following this career path.

Counter I have heard many take issue with how many games a qb has started. I think that’s the strategy

It's wild that the portal and the NIL money basically has given the players far more power than the old system, and now all of. sudden everyone is so upset their favorite team can't treat these kids like

He just wants to play early. It's simple. Go be great kid.

This says a lot about his character. You would think he would go and battle for the qb1 position but this is what the world has come to. 99% of the time its the family and “advisors” who make this decision, not the kid.

As a grown man with kids. The worst thing you can let these kids do is just leave until they find their spot. Every young man should know what it’s like to earn something rather than just be givin something. The number of transferees has to be just 1

I always sound like an old man when I say "Kids today don't want to compete...". Well here it is...!

Aye not a loss for Oregon.. A QB Battle is important for all in that room and that team. You earn your spot, don't cry for it. I am a Buckeye but think Moore is the guy. anyone who sits and earns their spot is the guy over anyone that makes that decision

I love that the athletes are in control.
Go wherever is best for you, kid.

To get drafted 3 years later he needs game reps, playing time so starting as a freshman gives you a better chance of getting drafted 3 years later. He can be replaced before he plays as a freshman if Oregan gets a higher prospect
