The shed in Link's house has been bothering me, so thanks for that. In my head canon, it has to be a bathroom. The other great mystery of Link's house is why he has a chimney and no fireplace.

I was so pissed to find I bought a house that had a non-functional door. That was just lazy.

Here's a challenge for you:
Go into Master Mode Hyrule castle (fresh save) with unupgraded Hylian armor, 3-6 hearts, one stamina wheel, you only bring a torch. Your mission is to survive for 3 in-game days within the confines of the castle, and take pictures of all the different creatures within, and defeat them. You can only use the hot spring twice, and you can use anything within the castle walls, including the Hylian Shield. Also, no Calamity Ganon. A secondary goal is to collect the royal guard gear including weapons and armor.
I call it the *Castle Survival Safari.*
IMPORTANT: No hiding around or staying in one place for too long. Mini bosses are included with the creatures you must photograph and kill. You must also find 3 koroks.

The Legend of Zelda:link breaks the fourth wall

One thing BOTW was really lacking was a boss reliving thing. In OOT 3D Link can sleep in his bed and relive bosses and in Majora’s Mask he can just go and fight them all again whenever.
What if in BOTW, when you bought the whole house and all upgrades Bolsen was like “wow! You got the whole thing! Now that the place is 100% yours take this key for the shed in the back. We never wound up going back there, we have no clue what could be waiting.”
Then Link walks around back and opens it and finds a weird Shiekah room with a cushion in the center and weird glowing Shiekah things all around. It’s like some sort of meditation room. And when Link walks over to the cushion he has an option to sit down. When he does he begins to meditate and has the chance to relive and fight bosses with the weapons he currently has equipped.
The room can be explained, through a book or something that the Shiekah built this room in Link’s home (because it’s Link’s house from 100 years ago) for training purposes. They created a room to test the chosen warrior through deep meditation or something. It’s a place for the chosen warrior to rest and meditate about his fights.
Now that Link has experienced the Blights and Khoga or whatever he has the chance to reflect on those fights in this meditation chamber.

Edit: I just realized you can fight the Blights any time, if you have the DLC.
But you still can’t fight Khoga, or Maz Koshia ever again. And you have to fight the blights with the weapons the game gives you. Not exactly what I wanted.

I always wondered what was in those. The animators could have just made the tool sheds have like a chicken inside or something random in each one. Like an apple or a nut

I was really curious to see if there was something or not, since that toolshed seems perfectly aligned with the unused space behind the shield's wall (and below link's bed) which could be quite a large room. Since there was nothing there, maybe it was an unimplemented upgrade?

Oh it annoys me so much that we have a house with a tool shed and it doesn't even open! It's my house, why is that door permanently locked? How hard is it to add that tiny space to the game... Just an empty room would have been much better :T
