The Miraculous Staircase by Joseph - Loretto Chapel

The staircase is said to have been built sometime between 1877 and 1881.

This staircase in Loretto Chapel, Santa Fe is truly a sign and a wonder. believed to have been built by Jesus father and master carpenter Joseph (one of the cloud of witnesses) when he made an appearance back on earth over a century ago to answer the prayers at Loretto Chapel

The species of wood used to make this staircase cannot be found on earth.
It is also built without nails and a center rail which is impossible to create even tdoay.

The men in white linen in the Bible are references of the righteous dead who are alive in Christ

Ezekiel 10:2 "He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, "Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city." Another reference of men in white linen bringing the supernatural into the earth.

Zechariah 1:7 shows Zechariah talking with an angel. He then saw a man in white linen riding on a red horse that rode over to the myrtel trees where there were a buch of other horses. Zechariah asked the angel who the men were and one of the men said these are the men God has chosen to go to and fro across the earth.

Daniel 12:9 Many shall be purified and made white.
Today we have the ability to be purified, transfigured, and made white. The man that was clothed in linen that stood over the river decread the supernatural events and when they'd happen

In Matthew 17:2 Moses and Elijah appeared in white on the mountain right after Jesus was transfigured. God appeared and said this is my son in whom I'm well pleased. The disciples then fell on their faces cause they were so afraid. Same account in Mark 9.

Matthew 27:52 The veil of the temple was ripped in two. The graves were opened and many bodies of righteous men clothed in white rose up and went into the city and appeared before the people and spoke to many.

Mark 16:5 They saw men sitting at the right side clothed in a long white garment and they were afraid. He said don't be afraid but see that Jesus has raised now go into the city and tell them.

Acts 1:9 Behold two men stood by them in white apparel. They said, why do you stand here looking up into heaven? Jesus has gone up before you and in the same way will return in a cloud of glory.

Dearest Ahava, BLESS YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!! I have ALWAYS LOVED THIS STORY!! I, like you, saw the movie, and was so MOVED at the end to find out that the story was true!! Some believe it was a local who built the staircase, or someone sent by St. Joseph. I BELIEVE, as do you, with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY, that it was truly St. Joseph himself. Who else could it possibly have been? I just KNOW, KNOW SO DEEPLY IN MY HEART, THAT IT WAS ST. JOSEPH!! Others want to "humanize" the occurrence by claiming a local genius carpenter made this staircase. But how would that explain the unknown origin of the wood used?
This staircase truly IS a MIRACLE!! To set our eyes upon this miracle, made by St. Joseph himself with Divine and Holy hands from heaven IS A BLESSING!! My DREAM is to one day go to this HOLY PLACE and MARVEL AT THE WORK OF OUR MIGHTY GOD!!

Very unique staircase but all too often people are quick to jump the gun claiming something to be a miracle. Walking on water, multiplying a few loaves of bread & fish to feed thousands, bringing Lazarus back from the dead, Jesus Christ raising from the dead.... these are actual miracles but just because we pray to God asking for help to build a staircase and He sends the help, is not a miracle but an answer to prayer and our faith in God through Jesus Christ....this is backed up throughout the New Testament:

Mark 11:24 24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Matthew 21:21-22
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

John 14:13-14
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

....and so NOWHERE does it say that if God answers your prayer, this meant He sent a miracle.... it means that God is abiding to His promise to us.

....but please keep in mind, NOWHERE did I say or imply that God never performs miracles anymore :o)

There is no big mystery about the staircase it has been explained that a traveling carpenter passing thru on the way to sacramento ca built the staircase and yrs later his great grandson while cleaning their basement found his old wooden tool box and the drawings and build materials list in this wooden toolbox it was on “myteries of the unknown “ tv show they showed the original sketches and tool box... catholics love this kind of thing always looking for thinks to hang on to that will justify their faith...
