As a fan I am so tired of every player thinking he deserves more money than the last guy even if they are NOT BETTER!!! SO TIRED OF IT! YOU DONT DESERVE MORE MONEY JUST BC YOUR THE NEXT CONTRACT! Enough is enough! Some team needs to put their foot down! In order to get paid MORE you must be at least as good as the last guy! Its BS!

The problem: Jerry Jones. Dallas will never win a SB going forward with him as owner. When you throw money at an idea and expect things to just happen, youre creating your own facade, but for the fans its been a nightmare.

I said Dallas should have Traded Dak the last time his Contract was up. How can you pay him 60+mill and Cedee 30+ Million??? Good luck putting a team around that

Excellent analysis. I am not a Cowboy fan, but there is no question that the Cowboys have mismanaged their situation. They waited too long and allowed other teams decisions to force their hand. They have to keep CD Lamb, they have no choice. They may have no choice but to let Dak Prescott walk, take the cap hit and move on to Trey Lance. I agree that, once again, the Eagles front office is showing the rest of the NFL how to manage players' expectations and salary cap simultaneously.

Jesus Christ after watching this and seeing how Daks contract is structured, I'm just reminded how grateful I am to be an Eagles fan. Howie would NEVER do some dumb shit like this that would handicap the teams salary space. Lol no wonder they haven't done jack doodoo to improve the roster this off-season 😂 oh this made my day watching this

Love how the video started with a Chris Broussard monologue on Dak. Shoutout my favorite sports talk show First Things First

Everything isn’t Dak’s fault but he is the highest paid player in franchise history and hasn’t played well the last few playoffs. He’s somewhere between above average to good but inconsistent and wants to be paid like he’s elite. Again, everything isn’t Dak’s fault (before the Dak defenders jump on me).

He had a top 5 oline and a top 3 rb take those away you get a 12 million dollar a year QB not 60 😂😂😂

I want to like the Cowboys, but stuff like this just keeps getting in the way.

What makes Howie roseman better than most GMs is not only having an owner who trust him and is more than happy to open his wallet, Roseman structures their contracts to where the players cap hits are so small, when they finally do take a hit, the eagles can stack the payouts for the bad year then move on.

Cincy on the other hand, has very frugal owners and when they actually get good, they will not be able to change their ways

I would let Dak walk. Give Trey a prove it year. And draft a wr with the first pick.

And if Prescott was willing to play for basically no money like he said, why hasn't he been signed already? Why does he need an agent? You don't need an agent to get signed. You can basically make your own contract at a lower contract and keep the money instead of paying some agent 🤔🤔🤔 because he used a bunch of big words. That said, I'm going to let the business side dictate what I make so it's still all about money. It's not about the team.

Did anyone watch the defense give up a ton of yards against a lame qb, with no receivers against green bay last year? Oh ya, and that rushing defense was just fantastic

What dak said in the press conference about not playing for money. Thats just pillow talk for the media and the fans.

The disaster isn't the Dak and Lance issue, nor the Lamb issue. The disater is the Cowboys front office! Why trade a 4th rounder for Lance who had proven nothing! We just saw 3 former first round picks go for 6th round trades!!!! Why trade for a 4th round pick for a former 1st round pick and not even pick up his 5th year option? How is he leverage against Dak? Lance in no universe is better than Dak nor any of the top 25 QBs. That's not a knock on him but you get better in any game by playing real time football against the best! He doesn't even have 30 games under his belt. And many are not clearly hearing the things Dak is saying, let me make it clear: DAK IS IN THE BEST POSITION HE HAS EVER BEEN IN AS A QUARTERBACK AND I WOULD DARE SAY ANY QUARTERBACK IN HISTORY! He is in his prime, 30 years old, gets to hit free agency next year with no holds whatsoever! He wins if the Cowboys pay him or not! He gets to possibly pick a serious contender next season if everything fall into place!! Wow! And Dak is always politically correct! What was he supposed to say about Trey Lance, "he hasn't improved?" Not to mention it seems to be the plan for the Cowboys to brag on Lance who is a free agent also at the end of the year that maybe they can trade him for a higher pick than what they gave up if he does good in the preseason! Dak's not worried! And Lance is not the future because if he is as good as they are saying teams will easily outbid Dallas at the end of the season if he isn't traded. CeeDee will get signed. Unfortunately, missing all of the OTAs and possibly training camp will get him off to a slow start this season which will have many wondering if he was worth the contract. Again, the disaster is and has been the Cowboys front office.

sadly untill jerry jones isn't the GM and owner, this team isn't goin to the superbowl. Also If dak doesnt make the NFC champonship atleast or the superbowl then i wouldnt consider signing him. Then see what trey lance has.
