Climb Every Mountain

In one month, our Park Avenue Synagogue community will embark on the largest congregational visit to Israel in history. To prepare our minds for this meaningful journey, here's an invitation to "climb every mountain", including Masada, which we will be visiting. Recording from Heritage, our recent collaborative album with RIAS Kammerchor in Berlin.

God put this Beautiful song on my heart this morning. I was taught this song in Phillip Murray Elementary School. Our Music Teacher Mrs. Lessene.' She cared we sang to give good Performances and we did. I was chosen with other students to sing in "Pittsburgh Pa All City Choir". I absolutely love Music. I sing, hum, and whistle to have that same Peace in the heart as in my Fondest Memories. Thank you God. Thank you Mrs. Lessene' Rest in Peace Praise the Lord hallelujah

This rendition is beyond amazing. When we went to Masada, we took the cable car. We did not have the will power to do the climb 😔.

Azi is very talented and he has done an excellent job with the song. But, to use pics of Masada is unsettling to me given the song's lyrics. "Follow every rainbow til you find your dream." Really? Those Jews who first climbed Masada committed suicide. A sad day in Jewish history, so that's why I believe Masada was not the best choice.
