This Pig Works for a Living

Meet Bacon, the pig who works like a farmhand. Every day, she treks miles alongside her owner, helping gather food and firewood. With two bamboo baskets strapped to her sides, she hauls sweet potato tops while the lady carries a heavy bundle of firewood on her back.

It’s a strange but familiar sight in the village. Some days, they carry more than just leaves—both are seen hauling whole bunches of unripe bananas, proving that teamwork comes in all forms.

Pigs are very intelligent, my grandpa had a farm pig in the Great Depression and he said it was so smart his dad couldn’t kill it but unfortunately he had a debt at the country store and his dad had to give it to them, he told me his dad had tears in his eyes. My grandpa telling the story more than 60 years later had tears in his ears too. And he would always remind us that animals aren’t stupid and how intelligent they really are. Miss grandpa!

I was grew up in a pig farm with thousand pigs. I can tell you that this pig is unique and special out of millions. If I were the owner of this hard working pig, I would breed this pig for more hard working pigs so that I can train them and sell them as labor or pets!
