I love my Meijers store. I always go by the part where they have their fresh donuts and bread. They have loaves of French bread for $1.00. Plus I splurge on a sweet 🥐 roll or donut. Delicious.

Just a heads up for the ones considering the designer/shaped foods. you tend to get less. like the mac n cheese pointed out if you get the regular it is 7.25 but if you get the sponge bob shapes you only get 5.5. tends to be the same with candy or little debbie items that like to have holiday themed shapes out but you get less and i also noticed it with chicken nuggets you get more weight in nugget form versus dinosaur shape. so if you are really struggling and every dollar count, you might want to skip fancy shapes just to get another mouthful or 2 instead. just something to consider.

I just realized you are the only ones I sent a Christmas card to, other than my mom who i will give in person I'll call anyone else, and there aren't to many left. It sounds sad but I say it with a smile and joy, I'm a lucky man.

You can't beat Meijer for an array of condiments! Although it used to be better, they also have good choices on 'foreign' foods, even British.

My Dollar Tree in South Carolina has sweetened condensed milk for $1.25. I stocked up.

Stopped at Kroger in Bellefontaine, OH. Practically no milk. A nice lady that was stocking dairy said a delivery was expected tomorrow. We got a gallon of skim milk which is ok. Found a really good deal on giant sized Chex cereal. I prefer Meijer and I hope to get there later this week.

Prices are jumping again. My local grocery store raised the price of Folger Columbian coffee a dollar a container in a week and half. Won't be long and I'll just stop drinking coffee.

Walmart GV whole milk is at $3.42 a gal and the 60 count large eggs are just under $20. Location is in Northern New York state.
