For those viewers who still wonder what is the difference between 'in' and 'inside' 😉 'In' and 'inside' are two words that can be used synonyms in some instances. But this does not mean that they have the same meanings and functions. Both words have the ability to function as prepositions, adjectives and adverbs. It is their function as a preposition that most people confuse; the two prepositions in and inside can sometimes be used interchangeably since they indicate a location. But the preposition 'in' only suggests a location whereas 'inside' carries a strong sense of being physically enclosed. This can be termed as the main difference between in and inside.

Good display 😉 I think such words as 'behind', 'above' are missing.

Under is I think not an appropriate Preposition .Because the Ball is touching to the Box .The right one is "The ball is Beneath the Box"

Thanks. I always think about the in and inside words that are the same. In my language in and inside words have the same translation.
"Next to" phrase is confusing me because it does not have a good translation for my language. But if I need to say "on right" or "on left" then it means "next to". But "on left/right " sounds better to me. Correct me if it is wrong

So, the difference between "in" and "inside" is that the last means that the sides of the box are closed and in the case of "in" the sides of the box can be open but the ball is in?
