The world's largest cup tower is not a recognized record category by Guinness World Records, but there have been many attempts to create massive cup towers.

One notable attempt was made by a group of students from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. They used 30,000 plastic cups and built a tower that stood 33 feet tall, breaking the previous record held by a group in Belgium.

Another notable attempt was made by the Dubai Police Academy in 2017. They used 56,018 plastic cups and built a tower that stood 63 feet tall, breaking the previous record held by the University of Texas at Austin.

While these are impressive feats, it's important to note that building large cup towers can be wasteful and environmentally damaging due to the use of disposable plastic cups.
