Shaking Beef
Ingredients
* 1 lbs ribeye or filet beef
* 5 cloves garlic
* 1 tbsp Maggi seasoning
* 1.5 tbsp oyster sauce
* 1 tbsp fish sauce
* 1 tbsp honey
* 1 tsp sugar
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 1 tsp cornstarch
* 1/3 cup red onion
* 1/3 cup bell pepper
* 3 tbsp neutral oil
* Salt to taste
* 2 tbsp butter
* Cucumber
* Tomatoes
* Limes
* Cooked Rice
Instructions
1. Mince garlic and cut beef filet or ribeye into bite-sized chunks. Marinate beef with minced garlic, Maggi seasoning, fish sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sugar, black pepper, and cornstarch.
2. While the beef is marinating, cut bell peppers and onions into petals.
3. Heat wok with oil on the highest heat. Right when the oil starts to smoke, add the marinated beef and in a flat layer. Let the beef sear for 1 minute to get a nice crust then give it a shake and sear for another minute.
4. Set the beef aside and in the same wok sauté onions, and bell peppers with salt until translucent(2 minutes). Add back the beef along with butter and toss.
5. Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until the butter has melted and the beef is cooked to your liking.
6. Serve with rice, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, and lime juice with salt and pepper.
