The difference between Mahomes/Reid and Purdy/Shanahan is they find ways to win without all their best players. We had so many chances to get critical scores and didn’t capitalize.

Also wtf was the decision to not go for 2 and tie up the game? That made 0 sense to me

Deebo, Aiyuk, Jajuan, and CMC were out for this game. Purdy made some dumb gun slinger throws. Special teams effed up. Defense did the best they could. I'm not really surprised with the result.

30M + 23.5M + 13M + 20M were missing on the field today on offense, BA DEEBO JJ CMC, there was no way they could score the points they needed to to beat Mahomes and the chiefs today. Purdy still under paid for his services was trying a bit too hard today but that's when you make the most mistakes (without the above highly paid and experienced vet help) especially vs a top 5 defense and the SB champs coming off a bye week, once the last int happened the 9er D looked gas compared to the Chiefs and when Andy Reid made his finisher call to use speed and redirection to close the game, it was game over.

Considering how well this team started last season and the conditions that made it so, this season was going to be tough, real tough. Last season was mostly just getting used to a new DC. Everyone was healthy fir the most part. Lets look at this year ...it seems like a plague. New DC working out the kinks again, Aiyuk and Trent miss training camp, the new guy you were working with more than Aiyuk gets shot just before the season starts, Mcaffrees Achilles issues, Greenlaw, Huffanga coming back sounded good but its been a minute for him, and now all of the crazy injuries puts pressure on the game plan with inexperienced players. This would have been a difficult win considering the conditions. Brock played out of character considering how hes been playing, even during the losses which made this loss that much more probable. I love Brock at QB but this one is on him. I feel he could have ran for some of those conversions. Even near the redzone. Its annoying when one phase improves theres another that fails from game to game.

A real fan 49ers would know the chiefs were going to win because of the mental games the chiefs play. The team needs understand we always the underdogs against the chiefs no matter the media try to say. Next game let’s go 49ers. We will win the chiefs are get them bad. We seem to have a lot of trouble in the red zone. I feel there is a breakdown in that area and we need to focus more there. I'm always faithful. Hard loss
