As a United fan, I'll never be angry about the way he left United the second time. He was there as a player and as a fan and he was disappointed with what he saw and rightly so. What we are seeing now, the management changes, the infrastructure improvements, the focus on football rather than business and branding, is all Cristiano. He started it all. In a few years' time, when United are as great again as they were in his time, even the fans who hate him now will thank him for what he has done and the things he has single-handedly set in motion.
