The North Carolina Symphony's Musical Meditations series, sponsored by UNC Health, offers moments to be calm, present, and mindful, supporting stress-management during the busy school or work day. We have partnered with North Carolina State Parks and the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources to share this meditation tool—featuring brief musical excerpts combined with breathtaking visuals from North Carolina landscapes.

This Musical Meditation returns to Holst's "The Planets" for a selection from "Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity." The views include Hanging Rock and Weymouth Woods.

Medical professionals and business leaders are sharing that focusing on emotional health is more important than ever—we hope you will enjoy this Musical Meditation as part of your wellness journey!

this is one of my favorite overall scores..I mean it influenced Lucas to point John Williams into the direction for Star Wars and you can hear its influences for Bill Conti's The Right Stuff as well. We have to hear this in person at the NC Symphony. I did go to the Nashville Symphony when they performed this and it was pretty powerful.
