After looking through the comments i'm glad i'm not the only one who remembers this from their 3ds

I've noticed that the video itself is a loop. The moment when he first wakes up could come right after falling. It could be an endless loop of trying to save who doesn't want to be saved. "We are the same, we are both saved, underneath the sycamore." It's hard to save who doesn't want to be saved.

Man, I remember watching this on my 3ds. And I had loved this song so much but I didn't remember the title. Just the 'sycamore' part. I would forget about it and remember it over and over again, then I finally found it not too long ago. I was so shocked that it was Death Cab For Cutie, because I had been listening to to some of their songs for over a year now. I'm really happy I finally found this song.

I am a songwriter. I have written 301 songs in my lifetime. Not that anyone cares, but I have a pedigree in music and in storytelling. This is one of the most perfect songs ever written. Period. Every single note, every single word, every single rhyme, every syncopation, and the dynamics are just absolutely perfect. Ben Gibbard is probably the best songwriter in my lifetime. He crafts his songs with such beauty...and his words are incredible.

It’s crazy how their music gets better with time.

I got it like this: two lovers; the girl and the guy who gives the picture to our detective.
For some reason the guy dies and the last thing he does after leaving this world is ask the detective for save her girl knowing that she probably won't be able to make it without him.
Our detective tries to find the girl all night.
When she knows about the death of her love she decides to comite suicide just before our detective find her.
She probably understood that the detective was sent from her love to prevent her deat but she didn't care because she wanted to be with him.

I love how the music video shows some unexplained mysteries. But srsly WHAT IS HAPPENING - and did anybody else find this on their 3DS?

It's the bass sound for me, absolutely brilliant. Also, the distorted guitars are perfect. There's piano/organ type stabs in the Background of the chorus which you can barely hear, but they are very lovely. Addicted to this song right now.

You can/could see a 3D version of this grace of a music video on it. It's viewed in two ways: The people who knew this group before the 3DS version, and the people who wondered why they never saw this before it came out on that format. Personally, if it gets more fans, I don't see why people have an issue with the thumbed-up comments asking if people discovered any song through the 3DS. You guys should be fine with knowing you beat us to knowing these great videos.

This music video reminds me of the music video for Grapevine Fires, which was the very first DCFC song I ever heard. It's cool to see them reuse a similar style :)
