I once had a soy sauce soft serve at a high way (express road?) restaurant here in Japan. The soy sauce tasted like caramel and it was delicious!

i went to the Anya Hindmarh Ice Cream Project when they first opened at the start of summer!! they do have more ‘regular’ flavours like one based off custard, jaffa cakes, and orange juice! the soy sauce tastes kinda like salted caramel, it’s not even the worst one on the list. that title has to go to the piccalilli/pickle flavour, that one was horrible 😭

I recommend their Black Raspberry Chocolate chip (most popular), salted caramel, vanilla bean and Black Cherry. All Soo good!

Reminds me of the time my husband got me to try balsamic vinegar on icecream. I was super skeptical, but pleasantly surprised. The sweetness of the ice cream negates a lot of the acidity and just leaves the flavor, which complements vanilla well.

I will clarify that it must be true balsamic, properly aged, and not the common cheap stuff that pours like water and is only balsamic flavored white vinegar. The one we used was a clear strawberry infused balsamic.

we went there I think either one or two years ago and I had the soy sauce and earl grey one! ear grey was fantastic, soy sauce one was eh. but I love the idea of new flavours! I still wo der how the baked beans would have tasted haha
