They stretch 25 meters from tip to tail, and will soon be rolling down the autobahn. The government is letting trucking companies operate longer trucks known in Germany as "gigaliners" in a limited test phase. Voigt Logistik is one company with a license to operate the trucks. The big trucks are controversial. Michael Fagts, a truck driver, says many people do not like the "monster trucks". Critics say the bigger trucks are more dangerous. Trucking companies, on the other hand, expect to save on fuel costs because the trucks can carry more cargo.

not a big deal in Finland either, the "normal" truck is more rare here than a "super truck"

Some parts of Canada and the mainland US have trucks with at least two trailers.  I have seen some of them (albeit mainly tanker trucks) pass by where I live and also in parts of Toronto's north end (where roads are often wider than many in the central business district of the same city).

In Australia it is bigger why would u put a semi trailer to a rigid ?? Doing it like that in tight corners the end trailer will most likely cross the curb but in austrlia they have bdoubles which is a tractor trailer unit the first trailer is smaller than the last on and it overlaps the first on and it is easier to turn in tight corners
