Russia might want to figure out how to field a proper 5th generation fighter before digging in on a 6th gen plane.

That's quite a leap, Russia's 4th generation Su-57 was a total bust and they only made four of them lol. In order to be considered fifth generation stealth the RCS needs to be 0.003 m2 or less. The Su-57 Was supposed to have a 0.1 m2 front and a 2 m2 overall RCS. But it ended up with a radar cross section of around 1 m2 From the front. Making it questionably even 4th generation with modern avionics. A F-35 would detect a 1 m2 RCS at over 200Km. It might have been 4th generation back in 1978 when the US made the F-18 with its 0.1 m2 Front and 1.0 m2 over all RCS. But personally I say it might as well be a third gen, because it's stealth is absolutely useless and may as well be non-existent, Sort of like the j20 LoL. They do have 5th generation radar though but I just don't think that matters, and they also put off a ridiculous amount of UV and thermal emissions to detect. So I'm literally waiting for Russia to make something that is definitely a 4th gen fighter. And people are over here saying sixth generation lmao 😂.
