Carlo Ancelotti knows the stakes will be high for both sides when Real Madrid host neighbours Atletico in a La Liga Madrid derby on Saturday.
Buoyed by Tuesday's 5-2 away win over Liverpool in the Champions League, Real will close to within five points of top spot in La Liga with a win over Atletico - at least until Barcelona go in search of an eighth successive league win at Almeria on Sunday.
Real have lost only one of the last 14 Madrid derbies in La Liga, and although Atletico are unbeaten in six league games, the 'Colchoneros' suffered a 3-1 extra-time defeat when they last faced their neighbours in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey in January.
