We all know that India's currency rupee has been depreciating in value ever since India's independence. In 1947, there was a time when one dollar was actually equal to one rupee but today one dollar is almost valued at 75 rupees. Why has this happened? And what will happen if one rupee equals one dollar? I explain the currency exchange rates and economics behind it in this video.

One Thing people don’t understand is that if we ignore the other political factors of having 1 rupye = 1 dollar, then their average annual salary will be 68000 rupees, that means things will not be any cheaper either way

You mentioned that Japanese currency is weak. It is not so. We can then import everything from Japan. It’s only the denomination of Japanese currency is small They speak only in Yen. In 1983 a dollar was getting 260 yen’s. Later on it could get only 100 yen’s since the currency became very strong.

पूरी दुनिया में सभी देशो की currency rate हमेशा 1:1 रहेना चाहिये ।
कोइ भी currency ना कभी दुसरी कोई currency से थोडी सी कम होनी चाहिए और ना कभी थोडी सी ज्यादा ।।
अगर येसा होता है तो पूरी दुनिया मे हमेशा के लिए सुख शान्ती और सुकून - समृध्धी कायम हो जायेगी 👍👍😃

He scolded me and told I said wrong… He said rupee value should go high.
