Hi,
in this video I use images and patterns cut out from an old decoration magazine to make miniatures.

My next video will also be on this theme because I couldn't put all the miniatures made with my magazine in this video.

As the video is quite long, use the time markers below to jump straight to the parts that interest you.

Thanks for watching this video, I hope you enjoyed it.

Happy crafting!

"00:00" Intro
"01:21" Chinese plant pots

What a fantastic idea in the beginning how to save patterns for later, I have not seen that before! Thank you for showing the problems you encountered with the paint and the mod podge on the chinese pots, it was very helpful to know. Everything turned out so nice and pretty with the patterns.

The pattern notebook is GENIUS, how did I never think of this?!? I finally have a way to keep mine without the edges getting bent and ripped 💖💖💖💖😭

Fantastic idea! It's after 11pm and I'm walking down to the basement to look for old magazines. This is going to occupy quite a bit of brain space over the next weeks to months😂

Great ideas. You could save a step when making the plant pots by using colored backing paper, so then you don't have to paint the insides.

I have so many small scraps from my scrapbooking, card making, etc. Great thing to use all those tiny pieces!!!
Alot of not the best washi tape too.

I love your pattern book! Such a great way to organize cutouts. Makes me want to make something similar for my magazine letters that are currently loose in small envelopes (A-D, E-H, I-M, etc). Those plant pots are so pretty!

I love your creations! Your tissue paper folder was really inspiring, a place to keep all those tiny little bits, I can't wait to look through my magazines again! I'm so inspired! Thank you for sharing

I love these ideas. I've seen people use very tiny pieces of wood to wrap around to make boxes. Might make all that angle bending easier. I really want to try out the chinese porcelain soon.

I just saw someone stretching&bending the paper bit by bit by round-ended tool, against something plate-shaped, like buttons or the palm of your hand. Also I wonder if making a tiny cut out of the paper would be less visible than the fold? Absolutely inspiring!! 🙏🏼✨️✨️ loved the booklet idea💖 also for me as non-native english-speaker the ai is totally fine!

I love this tutorial! I already learned to cut artworks out (then paint modge podge on top to look like brush strokes) but the flower pots, boxes, labels, and plates are brilliant. I had to go back through my magazines. I started my own little book last night. I also use the spine for books by gluing the covers on. You are so creatively brilliant!

I’m so impressed by the clever and thrifty way you use magazines. I like to take the stamp-sized stickers that come with self-stick return address labels (from donating to DAV) and put them on magnets that come in the mail, (they are flexible and can be cut with a scissors.)

These are fabulous, and recycling is the best. Thanks for sharingI have an idea that I use in crafting. For the juice covers. Trace around it on plastic packaging, cut out, then you can center perfectly with a clear template.
