Im spanish and if we were playing like shit i would still want them to win but id acknowledge. The best football in this euro has been produced by this team and im glad this is been acknowledge. England has been playing shit until NL, granted, that match was very solid. Still if football gods were fair, which they are not very often, the cup should be ours

football is wonderful and same as Madrid won 2022 CL, it's proven not the better team is the one winning.

but it would be as disgraceful as Greece winning the euros. poor game, luck, controversial decisions and way weaker opponents than the teams in the other bracket.

so yeah, England can win, but the arrogance shown by English fans is the reason noone want them to win.

Spain on their side have been showing great football and great humility.

I am impressed with Mainoo and I think Palmer and Watkins make a great duo. KANE is unfit and sluggish. His best days are behind him.

I am mostly neutral, i just wanna see good football. Palmer starting or playing 35+ minutes especially if England are going to play mostly counter attack ... i'm assuming this will not be the case, but if it is or if the game goes in that direction they might not need a target man CF. Perhaps Bellingham could join in the second half from the bench if the England manager has a suitable replacement that tracks back better. As for Kane, he was already closed down well by the other teams i'm sure the Spanish have already seen him play and know how to close him down... i guess he has to pull a rabbit out of a hat, or play a different style, perhaps supporting his team more if he doesn't recieve the space he wants, i'm sure he knows how to make it happen for someone else.

this is not a tactical preview for both teams... its more like "spain tactics and how england can counter and that's definitely not a tactical preview at all. but its understandable, dude's english and he wants them to win. may the best team win tho.💯💪

I feel Spain will dominate midfield with Rodri, Ruiz and Olmo who are press resistant/possession based and help in the press and attacking the half spaces. Hopefully Morata is healthy to start as he has been incredible defensively at the 9 high workrate when pressing and key in hold up and link up play, draws players out for Spanish wingers Nico and Yamal. Look forward to seeing Yamal against Trippier/Shaw and Saka, Nico against Kyle Walker more even due to speed and experience of Walker.

English strengths have been Stones, Guehi and Walker as a Back 3 and Bukayo Saka providing attacking and defensive contributions. They will look for penalties and backpost headers.

Think it will be even to start and then when Spain cracks England defence they could run away with it.

Second half with Watkins would be best, we've not revealed much of our hand with Watkins yet which could catch spain off guard when we need a goal! Kane has scored a pen and a header. He's been valuable in this tournament. Foden has been great, so many near goal opportunities have come from him, but he just can't quite get it in!

Mate, I was happily surprise, finally, by England’s first half after a gifted penalty. I was though taken back to reality when in the second half a very poor Dutch side had total control of the midfield. It was then I thought to myself: England no chance against Spain then if you cannot manage the game right now against this very poor Dutch midfield.

Southgate has been so awful in this tournament that a lot of England fans now want Spain to win. They've deserved it; we haven't - we don't deserve to be anywhere near the final, it's a travesty. And after waiting my entire life for a big tournament win to end the cursed "years of hurt", this feels deeply unsatisfying, it's a bitter anti-climax to those long years of expectation. We really want to end the drought with an emphatic and well-earned win, not this drab, flukey one; and it should be the World Cup, not this very much secondary competition. And we'll never win the World Cup with Southgate at the helm.

Tbh i appreciate moratas holdup play but i do kind of want spain to have someone more mobile running into pockets of space a bit more. Idk what oyarzobol has offered when he was subbed in since i barely noticed him. I do kinda wanna see ferran subbed in as cf with olmo behind him. Ferran is very iffy but with olmo being more direct and willing to shoot ferran could pull others decently and linkup with lamine and nico after morata is gassed out.
