HOW TO HIT A HIGH BUNKER SHOT

Here is a great way to learn how to hit a high, soft landing bunker shot. If you can extract the ball with your long iron, you will find bunker shots with your wedge much easier to play

Great video Chris! The idea of using the same club to hit several different types of shots is a great way to better understand the mechanics of golf. Too many golfers never stray from yardage-directed club selection.

Hi Chris if you want to hit a shot that runs out rather than a high floater is there a different technique or set up?

Great content Chris! With these kind of bunker shots with a very open clubface, I tend to open up or line up my stance left from target because the path of the ball is most of times a push. Is this change in the stance a good thing or does this mean I don't hit the ball as I am supposed to?

I'd thin it out with a 3I and hit the cars the parking lot or the railroad ties and get a ricochet at me.
