Absolutely!
After all, it is because of He is, not who we are. We know all that we are, all of our weaknesses and mistakes. Nevertheless, it is about who He is, and His capacity to love us completely, and to forgive us of all our naughtiness, and to save us. He wants to welcome us home, with open arms, to heal us.
That is the "Good News."
