Twitch Banned Dr Disrespect to Afford Ninja and Shroud?

Last night it was @DrDisRespect on his @YouTube stream dropping big hints as to why he was permanently banned by Twitch, in what seems to be him saying they didn't want to pay a high salary for the Doc, so they signed 3 cadets instead.

I have thought this from the very beginning, Doc’s contract was based on Mixer being around. Immediately after they went under Doc gets banned. The 3 cadets could be Logic, Shroud and Ninja. All signed after Doc’s ban.

Last night when obj asked if he has a group he plays with and doc said "i used to but the purple panther took that away from me " i felt bad man Smh.. Twitch really sucks and did this man dirty.. I'm glad he's found Z but it's obvious he misses Tim, nick and the rest

I've pretty much boycotted Twitch at this point. Everyone I watch is on youtube now. I wish more big names would follow suit.

I think it was because they didnt want to pay him, 100%! They panicked when Shroud and Ninja went to mixer and threw a contact worth millions at The Doc, and then with the collapse of mixer, the valuation for streamers like Doc, Ninja and Shroud fell hard, no way did Twitch pay out 10-30 million to get those two back on the platform, prob 10 mil for both or less for exclusivity. And with the persona that is the Doc, going with more Family Friendly streamers like Ninja is a safer bet in this PC Cancel Culture universe we now seem to be living in.

This is exactly why I couldn't believe Ninja came back to Twitch after they did him dirty when he left. Shroud should have switched to YouTube as well. It could have been game changing if they moved, but sadly complacency wins.

Twitch will have looked for reasons to ban him due to their desire to sign up multiple personalities at significantly less cost. They will have collated as many small infringements as possible to justify the ban hence why the legal process is so long and drawn out. Twitch need to justify their decision & doc and his team need to review each of the breaches and submit their counter. No doubt it’ll end in settlement that still works out cheaper for twitch than the full term deal with doc.

Well, that sounds illegal. I hope Doc is able to sue for the full value of his contract. I'm sure Twitch trumped up some bogus reason to make the ban seem legitimate, legally speaking at least.
