Yes, hes the most merciful. And He only forgive us if our repentance is sincere, and we feel guilty plus we shouldn't go back go whatever we were doing, . Thats the catch for Allah's forgiveness. Feeling guilty, a sincere and genuine repentance, and a promise to not go back, is what will lead you towards Allah's mercy.
