What the actual hell, who has the audacity to demand the police arrest a 7 year old child for taking out the garbage… me personally I wouldn’t take that level of disrespect.

The PowerPoint one was justified and saying that it was only done to emotionally damage him just shows how little you know about the pain of being abandoned and the difficulty in expressing emotions when you've experienced emotional neglect . It is so narrow minded to assume that she sent the PowerPoint to hurt him she just wanted to express her emotions in the only way she knew how just because it ended up hurting him doesn't mean that was the intent and the fact it did hurt him proves that he knows he did something wrong and has no right to be upset when the consequences of his actions come back to bite him

Story 1: Sounded more like racism, not them trying to hold power over children.

Story 3: After the childish attitude of sending scrooge pics & being completely dismissive of OP's feelings - Mom needs to be disinvited too!

I love how the original poster in The last story claims that her husband is being greedy yet somehow she doesn't realize that she is in fact the entitled and greedy one

I think in the story with the dad who more or less abandoned his daughter, it was right that he saw the presentation, it was a collection of a kid's emotions over the years after losing a parent, he absolutely should have seen that, i think it's a tragedy about what happened to the half-brother but that shouldn't immediately mean your other child should just stop having any emotional needs whatsoever. It isn't their fault. Also from his perspective, i think it was important that he saw that, the argument from the rest of the family that the dad having to see that caused him emotional pain, to me is irrelevant. As it is about the emotional pain you have caused to your own child. It was harsh, but i know that it's important for a kid and their emotions to feel acknowledged.

The OP that did the power point, is not a jerk in my opinion. That maybe her way of communicating with him without actually having to talk to him. She shouldn't have to rush to mend a broken relationship that the father created himself. He had plenty of time to do that. But now that the son is dead and gone, he decides he wants to be there for her. That's not how that works. She is his daughter and when she needed him the most he wasn't there for her. So she has every right to take her time to come around. Hopefully she will. But it's clearly up to her! And the last OP is definitely a jerk! How she gone be selfish to her husband's feelings and not consider what his grandmother meant to him. If she wanted her to have something, like the narrator said, she would have left her something. Had she asked her husband nicely, he probably would have given her something. But bc she was only thinking of herself, he said no. And it is what it is. I do wonder if she's only doing it bc the other family members don't like her and that is something to rub in their faces🤔

The PowerPoint one is brilliant. He didn't care until after his other kid died then it's I want a relationship. Screw all the way off. He's just upset his shitty actions for years finally came back to haunt him

One Powerpoint presentation vs 11 years of neglect... I say that "dad" got it lightly...

That dad who ABANDONED his daughter deserved the presentation. Don't tell people how long they are "allowed" to feel what they feel.

I honestly would’ve acted exactly how the mother in the first story would’ve acted if I was in that situation. The karen literally threatened to call a 14 and 7 year old for throwing garbage in the PUBLIC garbage bin and basically acted like she pretty much owned it when there was an obvious sign that it was public! Not to mention the husband’s response to the situation with the “I know how your people are” BS! Im glad those two got evicted cause that’s definitely what they deserve for causing a public disturbance. Also hello and welcome to the new person reading the stories!!!!

LOL I swear Karens are just unbelievable. But they are also the funniest. 🤣

That dad is only crushed because he realizes how horrible he was. It literally was only her genuine feelings, and he only wants to rekindle when his other kid died, instead of truly realizing his mistake. I get it’s a bit harsh just after his kid died, but he brought it on himself trying to contact a daughter he neglected and had no contact for years.

Story 3: No. You didn't receive that jewelry, he did. It washis inheritance and you are not entitled to it at all. You're the greedy one. You don't NEED that jewelry. You WANT it. Huge difference

in story two they literally sent exactly what their dad made them feel like. They are not the jerk in anyway. Child neglect to that degree is not something you can forgive and forget.

The father wasn't interested in the daughter in the PowerPoint story. He just wanted to assuage his guilt or something like that. What she did was perfect! He deserved it!
