Ectopic Pregnancy Warning Signs || Signs and Symptoms of my Two Ectopic Pregnancies

These are the signs and symptoms I had during both of my ectopic pregnancy. I hope this helps someone out there. Remember to always talk to your doctor as I am not a medical professional. This is just my story and what I personally experienced. It did not match the textbook symptoms so I feel that it is important to share and also put out there what I feel needs to change in the medical world so not so many women have to go through this. I agree they should be more vigilant in detecting ectopic pregnancies, it’s such a dangerous thing but of course they never want perform ultrasounds early on 🙄

In my ectopic my right tube was removed at 7 weeks
It’s really sad that it wasn’t detected earlier
It’s a very exhausting experience

I can never thank you enough for your video. My first symptoms were extreme dizziness and almost fainting. My heart rate was crazy high in the 120's. I knew it was ectopic in my gut. The ER send me home just thinking I was dehydrated. My ultrasound today finally confirmed it's ectopic cause the baby is big enough to see. Thank you for sharing your experience cause it helped me stick to my gut and get in and get seen again.

With my ectopic I was so bloated at 5.5 weeks that I looked 8 months pregnant, but I never had any pain until my tube ruptured. I also had a constant feeling that I need to have a bowel movement and also could not void my bladder. These were my only symptoms.

I'm recovering now from ectopic surgery. Mine was also on my right ovary, and I also just thought I was gassy and couldn't get it out. The first time I got what I thought was insane constipation but I thought it was normal for pregnancy. But I was already reading a bit about ectopic because the pain was in my side and back. The second time, same thing, this side pain which was pressing on my colon, and we went to the ER but they couldn't locate the pregnancy. The 3rd time was 3 days later, I had the most intense pain, I was literally writhing in pain on the couch on the 22nd of December. We went late into the ER, probably like 11 or so, and they found the pregnancy had implanted on ovary. The surgery got scheduled for the next morning and they could preserve my tube and ovary. I just feel really lonely now although I know I can talk to people it's so difficult knowing they don't know what I went through, the trauma of the surgery and my loss. I guess that's why I'm watching videos like yours now. But it gives me hope to hear that you had 3 successful pregnancies between your EPs. When after did you start your TTC journey again? And how long did it take to fall pregnant? I am so worried about my fertility and we really want a baby.

Hello, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for what you've been through. I've been feeling kinda pregnancy symptoms since august 10th.. like lower abdominal pain, lower back pain, nausea/vomiting and dizzy. I'm not sure if I could be pregnant, since I have an IUD. my family has been telling me go to the hospital, but I think I'm just sick. What should I do?

When I got pregnant I didn't know because I have endometriosis and some months I would miss a period and the next month it was heavy either so much pain I didn't have any symptoms but my breat hurt so bad I was talking to my friend and she said take a test I said I know im not but I said let me just do it and it came out positive I was so happy after 6 years trying with my boyfriend I cried so much then out of nowhere the next day I went to walk my dog and this pain on my side was so strong im like something is wrong everyone was saying I was ok but in my heart I knew something wasn't right I go to one hospital they told Mr it was early to tell I started bleeding so heavy and couldn't move I went to a second hospital and found out it was ectopic my heart dropped it was my right side the removed I still after 2 years I cry and so terrified because I've been spotting dark brown and light pink but will take a test and Me knowing me I would want a check up asap because I will go extremely crazy and get depressed until I know if I am things ate going smoothly

I had an ectopic pregnancy in 1974 and the symptoms I had was that I had back neck pain and couldn't move my neck, I fell on the floor and almost passed out but didn't quit all I felt was very peaceful like I was starting to drift away. My mom called the paramedics and when they took me to the hospital they sent me home and said there was nothing wrong then about an hour later and went back and they took some tests and they stuck a long needle in my chest, I will never forget that. They did surgery and said they had never seen a person live with as little blood as I had the DR. called it a name but it is too complicated to remember it. I forgot how many pints of blood they gave me and to top it off they were giving me the wrong blood the Dr. came running in and pulled out the line and he put in a new line wth the right blood type. I tell you I almost didn't make it. So look for neck pain too if you get it because It was so bad I couldn't move my head left or right.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in august 2022 and was 7 weeks 5 days along and my left tube ruptured so and they just took it out, I was bleeding so much into my abdomen I almost died. I did have the classic Ectopic pregnancy signs but the Ob told me that it’s probably just a miscarriage but they were wrong the baby was still alive when I went to the ER and confirmed it because I thought I was going to drown in my bath tub when I was trying to soothe the pain of the cramping. Fast forward now I have a 4 month old daughter who’s absolutely the best thing that’s happened to me, but I’m truly terrified to have another ectopic especially because I only have one tube left

Hello, im sorry for what happen to you.
I got my first positive test on 25/07 than i started spoting after two days i started bleeding heavily and my doctor told me is too early to see the baby but probably i will miscarry. After some days the bleeding stoped.
On 09/08 i make another pregnancy test and was still positive, but now the line is very dark and visible. If so i would be 7weeks pregnant now but i have no pregnancy symptoms, my doctor can't see baby in my uterus or somewhere else. She suspect new pregnancy or is the old one but is ectopic. Im waiting for blood work results and im so so so afraid.

i also had 2 times ruptured ectopic. 1st tim i had severe heavy bleeding for 1 month and still bleeding for 2nd month then it was diagonsed. second tim it also ruptured at 4 week ultrasound dont detect it

Hi. I'm glad to see this video. I am currently a week late on my cycle. On the 1st I was spotting but no cycle. Since then on an off I will have bad cramps and bloating and lower back pain as if my cycle is coming on any day now. Still no cycle. Every now and then during the day time I have a pinching feeling somewhere around my right ovary. I've had a cyst there before and that what it feels like. Some days I'm dizzy some days I'm tired. I have had a tubal ligation for 5 years now. Am I paranoid and just should wait for my cycle or get a pregnancy home test?

I had a feeling I had an ectopic by 5 weeks but my doctor dismissed it looking at my bloodwork hcg alone saying it didn't look like an ectopic even after I expressed bad pain only on my left side she still reassured me It was a "normal" early miscarriage happening even though I wasn't bleeding. Finally at 6 weeks my hcg did something weird where she told me to go to the ER where they were able to confirm pregnancy in my left tube. I wanted to surgery to just get it over with at that point but they insisted surgery is never a first choice and made me get the shot saying I'm a perfect candidate for it it didn't work! Had emergency surgery 4 days later when I went in for the follow up bloodwork and found it had started to rupture so of course deffinately lost my tube cause it was damaged at that point...been having mixed feelings about my doctor now.

I have been through the same last week… all whay you say makes sense… actually i had vaginal bleeding and i went to er and they sent me back home.. they told me okay maybe miscarriage or just spotting, go home rest and rake paracetamol!
