Scotland's Best Beach ? | Ancient Temples : Mountain Hike & a BUS!

The weather finally comes good and we head up a mountain with a view to possibly the finest coastline in Scotland. We then follow this by a hike along the finest beach in Harris ? oh and we also visit a Bus!

Great video Murray. Harris is such a special place. I'm lucky enough to have been twice and have had all the well known beaches to myself most of the time. That's out of season though, but I think the island is even more majestic then. I would add West Beach on Berneray to the list of out of this world beaches in the Outer Hebrides. I was there in October and had that place to myself also and has that same turquoise water that really has to be seen to be believed. Scotland really does have so many magical places to visit.

Certainly liked the photo of your lad looking back towards your cottage from the hill top. Though the golden beach and grey hills, clouds horizon nice too. If you like beaches - tas to be Tiree. Great video as always, Murray. Brought it all back to me, as I visited this exact area in 1978 - makes me feel really old!. I was a keen geologist in those days and collected some great specimens around Chiapval. As you showed, the beaches around Harris are incomparable. Looking forward to the remaining videos in this series.
