For those who are concerned about the color (like I was), it really does seem to be very dependent on lighting, and there is a video on the kickstarter's page where the book looks significantly more blue. (In this video, to me it looks so dark that it's almost black, and certainly nothing like the 3D model we were shown)

Just ordered one of the extras leftover from the kickstarter from Brandon's website. Can't wait to get my hands on these beauties. 200$ is definitely more than I've spent on a book before but for this quality I'm not complaining. These will be the highlight of my bookshelf. Hope to get the rest of the leatherbounds when they're back in stock. Wish I didn't miss out on the kickstarter. Didn't hear about it until after the fact.

Well, I just did the research. All the leatherbound books are $100 each. TWoK is split into 2 books, so it'll be $200 when it goes to the regular Brandon Sanderson store. Meanwhile, anyone who preorders the Leatherbound + Swag bundle gets the book PLUS an additional $110 worth of goodies, all for $200.

If anyone is interested in getting the leatherbound at some point but can't decide of they want to pull the trigger now, I recommend doing it. It's 55% more value buying it now than it will be if you wait to buy it in the future, even though it's the same price.
