the Element Stealth x transmission sits pretty high up as it is and theres isnt a real reason for it, so i just went ahaed a an chopped off the base of the transmission and was able to lower the motor position by almost 3mm or around 1/8". A cheap, free and easy mod that is definitely worth doing

- In my Gmade (GS02F), 2-speed trans- mission with overdrive (in 1st)... I have (14.29% OD) "from the transmission internal gears", which are changeable, (up to 22.22%, or to 0%) like you stated the Element Transmission can !! 😀 👍
Four screws & 1-screw for the 2-speed shifting linkage, allows me to pull out the long transmission, with ease !!! 😁✌️

Black oxide is much stronger than stainless. With stainless anticorrosivo properties comes less rigid properties. They will bend and strip easier. Why do you choose stainless?
