Dude I’m 6 years in my save file and I just got the fighting to level ten💀💀

Personally, i like to choose the other option for mining, the boost in ore early game is unrivaled, and it remains useful into late game for iridium farming until you unlock the sewers and can change it to gemologist (if i want to sell gems, which i dont usually do)

The treasure profession at level 10 fishing is also amazing. You pick up some much stuff. Well worth it

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter, because even if you make money more slowly from choosing the “wrong” professions, you can still get to perfection. Just pick whichever profession seems more fun

For foraging I like to mix it up a bit. I start with the lumberjack profession or whatever its called that gives extra wood from trees since you need a ton of wood early game, and then once I hit level ten, I re-spec into the iridium quality foragables for expensive truffles.

Just adjust your profession depending on current needs, there is literally a statue that allows you to swap

My technique was chosing double treasure chest chance in fishing until i get enough artifacts from them for the museum then reset it in the sewers for more fish value instead

I always end up being the resource goblin of the group. I go more ore and coal, and then more wood and hardwood chance. It helps in the early-mid game when you’re setting up your keg empire or when you friends wanna build 40, 000 beehives and raid the supply chest 😂

Farming - Tiller, Artisan
Mining - Geologist, Gemologist
Foraging - Gather, botanist
Fishing - fisher, Angler
Combat - Scout, Acrobat

Honestly pirate goes so hard now after fish smokers got added and they count as artisan rather then fish, and you can also find golden chests so even better

For fishing level 10, if you want to try and fish up some stuff for the museum while making your fishy money, getting the treasure chests can be really helpful, And then when you're done with it you can just switch to the fish sell price buff

And for Combat personally I like to use the ones that give +HP when possible, or I take less damage. I'd rather survive more hits so I have more chances to do damage a heal if I need to then spam a Hammer, but spamming a Hammer is really fun sounding tbh

Now that I've filled my house with a diamond factory, I should change my progression to gemologist

Adding the reminder that truffles are considered for aged items as far as the perks go, so your choices there make pigs so profitable. And I just like the pigs anyway, so I'll take the excuse to make more money off them

Imo some of these are bad choices. Imo you should get:
Farming: Tiller+Artisan, but sometimes swap to the animal ones to raise friendship with the respective animal.
Mining: I forgot the level 5 ability name + blacksmith, you get absolutely OMEGA money from skull caverns then
Fishing: Start by going the route described in the video, then later swap to crab pots having infinite bait, since you won't be fishing for money anymore and crab pots are a good source of broken glasses and therefore refined quartz
Foraging: do the route in the video
Combat: The critical hits one then acrobat

Thank you so much, I knew I went with the better option when it came to Fishing

The iridium quality forgeables also apply to truffles your pigs pick up so it makes you a TON of money later down the line
