Take a Tour of Taylor Bliss' Waterworks Kitchen...

With the help of Waterworks Kitchens, designer Taylor Bliss of Taylor Anne Interiors revamped this 1920’s kitchen for a Santa Barbara based client who was desperate for a durable, functional space for small children. Bliss was able to add a fresh, modern spin to the room while maintaining the integrity of the Spanish-style architectural vernacular specific to the Santa Barbara Riveria. The custom cabinetry was nothing short of perfection - from the spice rack to the pull-out dishwasher drawers, every inch of the kitchen boasts proper scale, proportion, and functionality. The extra special details and finishing touches, like the bread drawer and the custom cutting board cabinet, are the unique touches that set Waterworks Kitchens apart. The hardware, cabinet color, oak island, and quartzite countertops were classics in Bliss’s decorating vocabulary and have easily stood the test of time. The showstopper, however, was the custom-colored Red Bank tile; the Waterworks showroom worked tirelessly to ensure the colors were expertly matched to Bliss’s specifications. Bliss added texture to the kitchen by including the mesh inlay to the uppers and added continuity and flow to the space with fully integrated appliance paneling. According to Bliss, “The kitchen sets the tone for the whole house” and we couldn’t agree more!

Gorgeous kitchen. I love that it’s not one of these gigantic kitchens, it’s big enough and super functional. My favorite is the tile backsplash and the mesh cabinet fronts. Great job!
