My dad had a set of these speaker cabinets with a slightly different style. It came with a console stereo. I was born in 1962 and I think my mom told me at one time that the stereo system was late 1950s.
For the last 20 years, my dad kept telling me he wanted to get rid of the whole stereo system "cause it was old" I told him No because it sounded great. I lived with my dad for 10 years as his health was bad. He passed away June 2018.
Only then, after he passed, I realized the console needed some work. I tried to get it repaied but it is hard to find anyone that will repair old consoles anymore. So what I ended up doing was buying a new stereo system and kept the old Acoustic-Craft cabinets and of course the speakers. They still sound great after all these years!
Did you ever sell yours? Just wondering what they went for
