This my 6th time to have gotten to see Johnny Cash in concert in 1986. I'm blessed to have gotten to see him in concert 12 times in total!!. And I got to see the Carter Family at these shows too. They were Great to and I love their music too. God Bless them all. Love you Johnny and June. Always.

It is wonderful to see this again in such nice condition. I taped it on VHS as it was performed live on that day in 1986 and we could not understand at that time why they were airing it live on local cable television. Of course the years went by and the original only fair VHS copy I had, and the even poorer VHS copy and the DVD copy I made from it were not all that great. Thank you for this really nice copy of the show!

I love the video for "One Piece at a Time". Does that car still exist? I bought a 1958 Cadillac convertible, and it had a 1955 engine, it took me a while to figure it out. But, here's the good bit, I had the honor of having dinner with Johnny and June once at a show, the nicest people you could ever meet.

Thank you for the upload, you gave me great pleasure. That's wonderful. These live concerts are what he loves. Nothing seems like routine, nothing like it's been sung a thousand times. And in the interviews he seems so sensitive and vulnerable, a very authentic, exceptional artist and a particularly lovable person.

1986, the year he was dropped by Columbia. I believe that had it not been for Rick Rubin, he would’ve died years earlier than he did.
