You know, I have met Eric Lang in person and have even played some of his games with him at GenCon years ago. He was a real nice guy back them, but has now become one of the biggest woke-scolds in the table top gaming hobby. And he is constantly gatekeeping like this. Sad to see Rodney Smith added to this nefarious list as well, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised as anyone associated with BoardGameGeek is saturated with soy (just check the Twitter feeds of anyone attributed to running that website). It's so sad to see so many aspects of "nerd" culture fall under the sway of the modern Progressives who will un-person anyone that expresses any views that are counter to their ever shifting orthodoxy. Until enough of us put our foot down and say we aren't going to be cowered into non-existence by these radicals, this unfortunately will continue.

Regarding the top hottest board game reviewers... I am not going to defend this or speak on it since I haven't seen the video. But I PROMISE YOU if you were a lesbian talking about hot women or a gay man talking about hot men, you wouldn't have gotten pushback. These people don't care about women being degraded, or they wouldn't push trans ideology (which treats womanhood as a costume and actively harms women by pushing for policies that get them raped by men in their own prisons). No, it is an attack on heterosexuality, because we live in a world where bigotry against the majority is allowed and encouraged. THAT is the ONLY REASON this came up.

Eric Lang who has made some great games has gone absolutley. insane over the last few years and ruined all credibility he had. I cannot stand Rhado as a game reviewer but how Eric Lang attempted to dehumanize him is adhorent.

I can't stand what the board game industry is now. Rodney, BGG, Rahdo, and so many others are so politically motivated that it's ridiculous. I stopped following them a long time ago.

The best way to end this is to stop playing the (political) games. Keep doing what you're doing. You'll have the support from people who are tired of this and you'll give us places to spend our money with products we're proud to support. They'll fade away from attrition as we move on without them...just like Hollywood is learning...

Rodney and others are only important in their own small circles...they mean nothing and are nobody to most of us...

Of course, Eric Lang would come out of the swamps at the first sight of drama. This guy is the epitome of a social justice warrior. His hatred for straight, white, gentile people is extreme.
Rodney on the other hand is a low-tier SJW. From looking at the way he speaks, I believe he wants to be seen as this all-inclusive online "friend" that is liked by "everybody". But of course, when you hang around people like Eric and Suzanne, he's bound to be influenced by them and start taking stabs at people like you, to prove that he's a Good G0y.


What I'm saying is that deep down, Rodney is not a bad person. You should forgive him, regardless of what he says. Eric on the other hand is all-around bad. I doubt he's a g0y too.

Hotness has different connotations than beautiful. A father will say their 20 year old daughter is beautiful but not "hot". To complement a high schooler who has gone to a formal an uncle or older family friend would say "she is gorgeous" but not "she is hot".

That being said, I hope you come out ahead in this battle with GAMA and they allow your diverse voice to be heard

I highly doubt that you're in danger of being physically attacked. Violence is damn near non-existent in this hobby space. Unless of course you try to eat Cheetos while playing somebody's game. FWIW - I'm not an Eric Lang liker, nor much of a fan of the Watch it Played content. You're building an agenda in your own mind. The frequency that you casually drop that you're a minority and a Christian gives me the impression that you ride the woke status harder than Eric Lang.

Both Rodney and Lang are two unbearable snowflakes and woke dictators. I can't stand them.
That said, the two videos he pointed out in his comment are really sad. The first one is just ignorant, but the second one is really cringy, creepy and in bad taste. No wonder the hobby is still a sausage fest and an unwelcoming place for girls. You can't really go and say you want the hobby to be "inclusive" and do videos about hot girls in the hobby at the same time. It's hypocritical.
Now, you do have the right to do those videos, and that's something no one can take away from you, but by putting them out there you have to be prepared to be questioned and challenged.
This matter should have been dealt privately, RS and EL should have spoken with you and GAMA board directly instead of going on a witch hunt and public lynching. That says a lot about them.
They want so desperately to "save" the hobby, they can't even realize they're part of the problem.
