Well, major elections are taking place in the United Kingdom, Panama, Chad, North Macedonia, Lithuania, Dominican Republic and South Africa - all of which have the potential to reshape each state’s domestic policies and international relations.

Meanwhile, on May 15th, Palestinians will observe Nakba Day, commemorating the displacement of over 700,000 Arabs during the establishment of Israel in 1948, with large global protests likely.

This comes as an Israeli assault on the Southern Gazan city of Rafah is expected.
