Using Tune IT to fix tuning issues on my PRS

I had some issues with tuning stability on my PRS when using the tremolo bar, so I tried some "Tune IT" from Music Nomad to see if that would help!

I bought some white lithium grease from Ace Hardware! A tube is a couple bucks and will last a long time. It works great!

Thanks for the video. I too am having the exact same problem on my prs se. I tried the pencil thing but that didn't work.
I'll try the Tune it, or nut sauce to see if that works. It's mostly my G B E strings will go out after using the trem bar. I was thinking about having a bone nut or a graphtech nut put in if I can't get rid of the problem.

Use a guitar string to make that slot wider. Use the correct gauge string to widen, and a B or high E string to burnish the slot to make it slippery. Gently run the heavier string through 4 or 5 times, and use and polish the slot with the thinner string. Be careful, and it will fix your problem. Tune It is about $20 in my country. Make your own with Vaseline and Teflon or Graphite powder. You can also use lip balm instead of Vaseline.

Seems my very new Moder Eagle V got this issue too - thanks for the video. It’s my first PRS and I am wondering. I’m used to Ibanez Jem and JS1 - they do not detune. Very strange, PRS.

I installed the PRS SE locking tuners, helps a little but not 99.9%, I'll have to try this product to see if works, P.S. my Stratocaster' s have no tuning issues even floating, locking tuners as well.

Serious quality control issues on PRS SE series. Ive found the tremelo springs are sticking in the trem block on mine, which stops it returning to the proper tuning, but ive seen alot worse on some youtube videos. Issues you don't find in cheaper guitars from other brands. Very disappointing.

came here because I have the same problem. I tried the pencil, and now the nut sauce. Sadly none of these worked. It always gets detuned... and I don even do dive bombs or anything. Thinkin of moving to another kind of guitar/bridge. But I like this guitar a lot and would not like to sell it to get another one.
just dissapointed with the bridge system. Mine is a 2017 made in Korea.

Thanks, I really like my custom BUT, when playing hendrix stuff it will go out of tune drives me crazy, I will try this tune it, never have, always used the old pencil trick, on my strats, and that worked pretty good. Not so with the PRS which is the main reason I bought it, thinking the trem was better on these than a strat trem. go figure. Someone told me the screws holding the trem on can be set differently, to help with tuning ?? Also just for the record, My custom has been hot rodded, locking tuners, graph tech nut, all new high end tone/volume pots, new jack, new three way switch, and new dimarzio humbuckers, pro set up. Just that darn tuning when hammering the trem bar. Great guitars, can`t beat em` for the money. Thanks.

Dip the bar once or twice after you use the vibrato. It will go back in tune.

Trem guitars are for Pros that have their guitar tech 24/7 not for regular players IMHO. Even John Mayer doesn´t use the trem that much, just a touch, and he has money and guitar techs to spare,
