I see why some cyclist get killed #whatstherush #watchtheflicker

On my way into work this morning going up Shootup Hill by Kilburn, I passed this cyclist on the way up. If you notice up ahead you can see the left turn flicker of the bus. I slowed down to a stop to wait for the bus to turn left as I caught up to it and this idiot of a cyclist that I passed earlier decided it would be a good idea to undertake the bus WHILE IT IS TURNING!!! Not to mention the moron is not wearing a helmet.

I only realised now that I may have jumped the red light as a result of witnessing this stupidity on two wheels. So I put my hands up for that one.

Looked like the bus was using his mirrors there - seemed to stop when the driver thought he was going up the inside - good on the driver for keeping his wits about him.

Bus driver clearly indicated in good time and was preparing to turn. This is not the time to filter as this is how many cyclists get killed. Good for him he had a sensible cyclist behind him and a bus driver that was using his mirrors.

Poor bastard bus driver, I remember what it was like to be a Learner Bus driver That poor sod could of been on his test . Then some prick on a bike comes up the inside, Honestly Some people have no sense at all.

Dutch rule: Traffic going straight on always has priority.
But we keep to the side of the street! We don't go overtake left right left right.
Not saying cyclists won't stop for the bus to turn. They usually do. Still we want drivers to check. They won't if you give them priority a soon they indicate.

And oh. We don't wear helmets. I don't know about British helmets, but the one we tested simply ain't strong enough when a bus runs over it. We think helmets are unsafe. Because want more cyclists. Not less with a couple of Coconuts remaining. So I wonder who is the moron here?

Everyone makes mistakes, but when a bus driver does in times like this, it results in death. Don't take a chance, never undertake a large vehicle.

glad he never went up the nearside of that vehicle he either needs glasses or he's just trying to get a move on with his organ donations!
i wonder how often he does it as he seems fine with doing it

Both filtering cyclist and cammer cyclist jumped red/Amber lights, but cammer posted the video regardless.
