In a previous life, VoxAxoV (aka Charlotte Cegarra) was a member of The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation.

It was a mystical musical adventure. It opened my creation, made me collaborate with amazing talents and toured all over Europe and Russia. I’ve learned so many deep lessons thourgh these years. I faced many demons. Most importantly, I encountered an extremely passionate audience. I still receive many warm messages from fans. Thanks to all of you!

As a grateful gesture, I wanted to offer a special piano version of Embers as Here Be Dragons has been repressed by Denovali. Don’t hesitate to order your copy, the discs are often quickly out of stock…

Time and life are passing, but the songs remain. Sometimes, their meanings and the emotions they convey change through the years. When we released Here Be Dragons, my voice and the melodies were mournful. Now I feel them as even more dramatic as it seems we approach more and more the end of the world. When the band was still active, we were not really aware of what we were doing in the sense we had no idea the music would become kind of cult. We were also a bunch of different artists coming from diverse backgrounds.

Who could have know, TKDE and MFDC would become THIS? You, people! You knew, at the time, when you were listening to our music, attending our shows, hoping we would come to tour in South American, Japan, Canada… Your knew better than us, that the music was deep, meaningful and inspired.

Thank you to have not stopped listening to these beautiful musical pieces.

Thanks to you listeners, lovers, dreamers, melancholic wandering souls, you’re making our past dreams and nightmares still vivid. You allow this music to really become the perfect soundtrack for this worldwide mayhem.
