I just did this yesterday. 1 thing that was crucial which not mentioned here is that you have to drink the potion almost when you start falling. too early then you will explode early and die from the fall, too late then you will not drink the potion just fall.

You can stand at the platform at the end and use taunters tongue to get them to actervate the elevator, might take a few attempts

you can fall, then quitout. After logging in drink flask and almost immediantly step forward.

Just use the taunter tongue, a bloody invader will come and he'll activate the elevator for you

Can confirm still works as of 6/11/24, did about 20 try of failure until I said screw it and grabbed some soft cottons to see if that'll help, first try with it

I'm still at 1.10 (before DLC), but I did it! With powerstanced dual lordsword straight swords, no armor
