Nice!! The new options have really made a difference in my laptop's speed!

You saved my life. I can't switch to linux untill my switch controller(joycons) doesn't work on linux as vr controller, on windows i can use them as vr controller with driver4vr.
But winutil helped me enabling O&O shutup with just one click. Also i was able to do all tweaks for getting higher performance and blocking/removing almost all spying tools/services by microsoft with just one click.

Why change the "desktop-laptop-minimal" options? Now whatever you pick (standard or minimal) I have to manually select hibertation related options depending on the system Im runnning the tool on.

Argh, so sad you got rid of the desktop/laptop preset options - I use these semi-daily when setting up machines at work and it relieves the one might otherwise run into regularly.. What's a good workaround?

Hey Chris, what is the difference between the "Disable Copilot" feature that runs as part of the O&O Shutup tweaks and the standalone one in the Advanced Tweaks section?

I hope we have an option what windows apps we could exclude from removal/uninstall.

Coz i use Phone Link and the snipping tool. every time i have a fresh install of windows and use the WinUtility, i have to reinstall Phone Link and Snipping tool again and again.

Also i hope Chris put back the Laptop and Desktop Tweak Preset.

Also a compact UI of WinUtility. coz the install section is too crowded.
And I don't use the install section/tab.
I really miss old WinUtility UI without the install section/tab.

I ran it only around 3 hours ago. It keeps on showing the need of an NET 6 runtime, which the tool has been unable to update yet. Downloaded it manually, coz some of my programs need it, but the hash didn't match. So I quit it for the day...will hit tomorrow. I think your tool doesn't clear its chache automatically too. Moreover, hardly the MS-owned software update properly. You also included Arc in your list, which ain't looking good at all, to be frank!

That's what gets me the most about the sensationalism around these asinine changes MS puts in Win11. The people that scream the loudest are Windows users who have zero idea about how their OS works and Linux users who are strongly opinionated on Windows while at the same time having zero knowledge about this OS, going around declaring Year of the Linux Desktop for the n-th time ever since some Finnish student got bored. When I saw that it stores it all as an SQLite database and loose screenshots, my first thought was that oh, they actually went with the most basic way of implementing it, meaning it'll be just as easy to rip it out. Hell, even the big bad evil Edge is just three folders in Program Files you can force delete as admin and that's Edge gone from your system, it's all based on an OS architecture from the 90's, or 80's even if you include OS/2 as a part of it's history. For all the idiocy MS tries to pull, they can only go so far on this legacy base without making a new OS from scratch to not give you any control whatsoever, and that'll happen on the same day as Year of Linux Desktop actually becomes a thing.

I did install Bazzite on external ssd. The Nvidia x Server fan control won't work. I don't know how to fix it. What should I do?
