I liked your video; easy to understand and a good presentation.
Just need some more information.
I am looking to buy something to control my stereo system (IR Remote) in my basement while I am in my sunroom upstairs. Probably 40' away and through concrete walls.
I also have an existing remote lighting and security system (RF Remotes.)
Will this work, even though the actual device is in the basement, with the RF remotes?
Is there a list of branded IR & RF devices this system will work with?
Thank you

This RM Pro is amazing. I have had one for almost a year now, and I use it (all in one room) for my Air Conditioning, TV, Projector, Smart Blu Ray Player, Surround sound system, CD Stereo, and perhaps most importantly:10 different RF Outlets. These outlets are like 5 bucks each (you can get a set on amazon for cheap), and essentially you can turn your outlets into smart outlets for cheap! Broadlink is really missing out on the potential they have with this product. I have fumbled around with the app and while it works for me, it honestly sucks and would not survive in the mass market. Broadlink needs to step up and work to get this partnered with Homekit for Apple or Amazon Alexa, and clean up their app too. This thing would me MASSIVELY successful if they pull this off. This goes for around 35 on Amazon, and a 5 pack of RF outlets is 25. So for 60$ total you have a hub and 5 outlets, where a normal smart outlet is $25-30 a piece, without the hub. I have reached out to Broadlink Support but they seem to not be very proactive on this project which is a shame.

Thanks for the very informative vid. I have 2 wall (ductless) AC units at my house. They both use the same remote (meaning they will both respond to either remote). I assume I need to have a boardlink in each room to control each AC unit?

How does Iphone app handle 2 different boarlink RM? Can you make a separate icon on iphone for each RM?

Also, I have several houses. How does one program all these RM from different homes on one iphone?

Thanks.

Hi, I can't control my e-remote out of home, not from the place where I have wifi and not by 3-4 G, may be you know what's the problem?
I always see the massage : the device is offline. And an other problem -the device can't learn most of remote controls

please forgive my ignorance but it looks like you are just replacing the t.v. remote with a smart phone. is there any way to control my samsung smart t.v. through alexa? i think i would need a device that i could control with alexa that points an ir beam directly at my t.v. i hope that made sense. thanks a million.

Is there any way that you can preserve all your remote settings once you changed the password of your wifi after successfully connected it into the previous wifi password?
