This shouldn’t even be close. Andrew Thomas is way better

Thomas all the way. I’d rather take the one more likely to be solid, than someone solely based off perceived upside

Mekhi Becton, can play either tackle spot, huge huge man (built like a bus ), really quick feet for a big dude, way better than Thomas in the run game (which is so important for Barkley ). Thomas feet ain’t elite imo - which is a concern going into the next level. Thomas is good don’t get me wrong but I just don’t think he’s going to be elite. Think he will be a safe pick but not an amazing elite prospect. But Becton came on peeps and bounds last year and is so god damn strong with his major big frame. At the next level I don’t think his weights gonna be an issue in the giants physical training room. Yes Becton is still a bit raw but potential is there. I still think Jedrick Wills is the hands down best OT in the draft. Also check the draft network notes on the prospects as they breakdown prospects very well.

Thomas hands down. I’ve watched several hours of his film and he’s our guy. Highest floor among the top 3/4 OTs in the draft. Most playing experience and lighting quick feet/recovery speed. Becton is an absolute unit but he has serious technique flaws and relies significantly on his overall size which gets him in trouble. We’re drafting an insurance policy to fend off Chase Young and Demarcus Lawrence. Thomas is our guy.

Thomas no contest. He's the most pro ready, and I'm tired of draft pick reaches like becton who have "high ceilings". We've had enough guys here with that BS metric, with reese and it got us nowhere.

I honestly think we will draft Andrew Thomas. Multiple reasons why... limited meetings due to quarantines and he seemed to be the most consistent every year being rated highly, gives flexibility to be able to move Solder to RT or let him play RT till we cut solder, seems the safest pick if we want an OT. Only other thing I can see is if they get a great reference from Saban for Wills or we pick Wirfs to be a good RT and maybe replace Zeitler and make a great RG eventually if he doesnt work out at T (If we even draft OT).

Becton is my pick bc he has the highest ceiling of all the prospects and he doesn’t know how to play the position yet...Thomas is the most polished, safest of all the Tackle is this draft....Becton 💪🏾💯🏈

Out of these two.... you convinced me BD, I’ll take Thomas

Hope you're staying safe too, Dog. Out of these two, I think Thomas just edges it. I like both a lot, but I think Andrew is more polished in both the run and pass game therefore should require less coaching and we do preferably need a "Day One" LT to protect DJ.

The answer is simple: Thomas over becton.
The reasoning is simple: you don't draft in the fourth position of the first round hoping someone figures it out.
Thomas has already demonstrated most of the measurables and statistics that you would want. Becton is a mountain of a man that you hope can learn to be a proficient tackle. Is becton good? Yes. But there needs to be as few variables as possible with this pic and becton has more than Thomas. End of story.

Thomas and Wirfs, are the safest pick in this year draft . I think Thomas is going to be right Tackle in the future and Wirfs should be a guard ...great video Dog .. #newsub

Becton may have a higher ceiling but Thomas's floor is so much higher I am going with the safer bet, we can't afford to blow this Good call Baddog!

You can’t go wrong with either one, but I would go with Becton.

Becton all day. I acknowledge the argument that he's not as polished as Thomas, but with the athletic gifts he has already, he's shown that he can dominate. Draft him, get him on a nutrition plan, let Colombo coach him up, and watch Becton bully the Cowboys, Eagles, and Redskins for the next decade as long as he stays healthy.

Great video @BaddogSports I'll go Thomas, but we must try and trade down if that's the case. #IwantSimmons
